This year we are offering a sumptuous family Thanksgiving dinner at the Columbia City Hotel. Here’s the festive holiday menu:
First Course Choices:
Roasted Acorn Squash Soup with bacon and leek cracklings, or Pear, Endive & Roquefort Salad; or Butter Leaf Lettuce, Chanterelle Mushrooms & Prosciutto Crisps with City Hotel French dressing.
Entrée Choices:
Oven Roasted Turkey with chestnut and bacon stuffing, buttermilk chive mashed potatoes, oven roasted yams & seasonal vegetables; or “Lockford” Apple Smoked Ham with a bourbon & molasses glaze, buttermilk chive mashed potatoes, oven roasted yams & seasonal vegetables, or Roasted Angus Standing Rib Roast with caramelized shallots in a madera reduction, oven roasted yams & seasonal vegetables.
Dessert Choices:
Baked Apple and Walnut Crisps with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream; or Classic Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream, or Pots De Crème with Almond Praline
